The article discusses some issues of the organization by the economic security and anti-corruption units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia of organizational, managerial and practical measures to counter economic crimes in the field of the military-industrial complex, including embezzlement of budget funds allocated for the implementation of the state defense order. This study is conditioned by the adoption of timely operational investigative measures by the economic security and anti-corruption units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia aimed at countering challenges and threats in the field of the military-industrial complex as a component of the country’s economic security.
