Abstract (English):
The system of assessing the professional suitability of employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation and its reflection in the main regulatory legal acts is investigated. Certification is considered separately as an element of this system. The conditions, requirements and criteria that employees must meet in order to be recognized as suitable for the positions being filled are determined.
