The article analyzes the main administrative and legal powers of employees of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia when involving them in measures to protect public order, including in comparison with the powers of other officers, who are not police officers, involved in performing the same tasks. A comparison is made of the main departmental and legal regulations currently regulating this area of police activity, and proposals are made to improve legal regulation.
