REMUNERATION OF AN INTERPRETER DURING CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS: SOME ISSUES REQUIRE CLARIFICATION

Abstract (English):
The translator bears the costs in the field of criminal proceedings to achieve the goals of justice and establish the truth in a criminal case. The mechanism for compensation of these expenses is established by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation and the act of the Government of the Russian Federation issued in its implementation. However, the results of the analysis of law enforcement practice indicate the presence of some issues that arise during the application of this mechanism, the analysis and resolution of which is the subject of this study.
