The article analyzes the issues of methodology in the philosophical and legal field of knowledge. The authors of the article believe that the philosophy of law, contributes to the formation of a holistic sense of justice and a holistic legal culture, acts as a methodological basis for jurisprudence and itself relies on a certain methodology. The authors pay attention primarily to the dialectical method of understanding reality, believe that dialectics as a philosophical method is not only not outdated, but also has sufficient productivity, both for philosophy and for legal knowledge.
