The authors address the problem of doubling terminology. The features of the concept of “legality” and “law enforcement policy” in a “positive sense” are compared. The conclusion is made about the duplication of these terms. It is noted that the scientific value of the term law enforcement policy is revealed if it is used to describe the goals of law enforcement entities that do not correspond to the goals of the law.
