Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
In the article, taking into account the content of the political and strategic state idea for the protection of the economic security of the Russian Federation, presented in the National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation and the Economic Security Strategy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030, an attempt was made to demonstrate the legal means that regulate and ensure it. It is noted that the means of ensuring economic security are a set of political, economic, organizational and legal measures, the main purpose of which is to create a favorable economic climate for the further positive development of the state, society and its citizens, to demonstrate its economic independence and present the country on the international platform as competitive partner. It is noted that it is legal means that today act as the main instrument for ensuring the economic security of the state. The total amount of budgetary funds allocated to support national security and the level of economic crime for 2016—2021 are presented. The obtained statistical data indicate that economic crime is at a fairly high level and there is a tendency for its further growth, thereby increasing the danger to the economic security of Russia, on the basis of which a demonstration of the potential of criminal legislation in the area taken for the study is given. A hypothesis is put forward about the effectiveness of repressive and incentive criminal law mechanisms in ensuring the economic security of the state.
