Author makes a definition of economic security in the article and describe tax police as a one of the most significant instrument of providing economic security. There is data of income and budget expenditures of Russia. Some mechanisms of increasing people’s trust to the state in the sphere of needs’ satisfaction and state execution of obligations are suggested in this paper.
