The phenomenon of vowel operational investigative activities, which is difficult to explain from the standpoint of the classical theory of operational-search activities, is a transitional, mixed by nature legal phenomenon. While there is legal uncertainty in the sphere of their legal regulation. Meanwhile, relations between its participants should be regulated according to legal standards formed by criminal procedure law. The evidentiary value of the results of the vowel operational investigative activities consists in obtaining factual material from which criminal procedural evidence can be formed in court.
