Abstract (English):
Introduction: the article analyzes the activities of law enforcement agencies to consider reports of crimes and investigate criminal cases on violations of labor protection rules using the example of the activities of the investigative units of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Kirov region. Materials and methods: in the process of research, general scientific (analysis, synthesis, systemic-structural, general logical) and private (comparative legal, statistical) methods were used. The materials of the study were the current legislation of the Russian Federation, departmental regulations regarding labor protection rules, as well as statistical data for 2019 regarding the consideration of reports of crimes and the investigation of criminal cases on violations of labor protection rules. Results of the research: in the article, the authors systematically analyzed the situation developing in the analyzed area of activity of the investigating authorities. At the same time, we state that in the presence of some difficulties associated with the analysis of a large volume of documentation, violations related to the consideration of reports of crimes and the investigation of criminal cases on violations of labor protection rules have not been identified, however, the authors presented a number of proposals to improve the efficiency of activities in the indicated direction. Discussion and conclusions: in order to increase the efficiency of activities when considering reports of crimes and investigating criminal cases on violations of labor protection rules, a number of proposals have been submitted for the heads of territorial investigation units, departments of procedural control and forensic science.
