About the Journal

From 2001 to 2010 Nizhny Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia published the journal «Economic Security of Russia: Political Goals, Legislative Priorities and Practice of Implementation: Journal of Nizhny Novgorod Academy of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia». In 2005 the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Sience of Russia included the journal in the list of periodicals recommended for publication of research papers reflecting the main content of Doctoral dissertations.

Since 2010 the journal has been published under the title «Legal Science and Practice: Journal of Nizhny Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia», and therefore, greatly expanded the scope of published materials.

The journal publishes the results of research on the most pressing problems of legal science and practice in Russia, the countries of the former Soviet Union and other foreign countries, carried out by scientists of research institutions, universities, and citizens doing research on their own initiative. In addition, the journal published conference proceedings, information materials, analytical reviews, abstracts of scientific publications, congratulations on anniversaries and obituaries.
