Abstract (English):
The relevance of the problem discussed in this article is due to the need to ensure the principles of legality in the context of non-public activities aimed at negotiating with crime through the use of operational investigative tools. In particular, the structure of operational investigative activities is examined and their substantive inconsistency is argued. The novelty of the article was determined by the establishment of technical and legal shortcomings of the current legislation and the author’s proposals for eliminating existing problems
