Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to the general characteristics of the essence and mechanism of ensuring compensation for property damage caused by crimes of economic and corruption orientation and determining the role of economic security and anti-corruption units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in it. The importance of this area of law enforcement activity is emphasized, attention is focused on the need to improve it. The general structure of the model of the considered security activity is proposed with the inclusion of a previously unreleased element in it: the organization of operational monitoring of the objects of compensation until the adoption of criminal procedural measures of a security nature. The definition of ensuring compensation for property damage caused by a crime in the activities.
