The issues of operational investigative support for the investigation of criminal cases related to the illegal production and trafficking of alcoholic beverages are considered, various points of view of the scientific community on the concept of “operational investigative support” are presented and its main elements are highlighted, problems in the operational and official activities of internal affairs departments related to the issue of neutralizing counteraction to the criminal environment are highlighted and ways to solve them are proposed.
