Abstract (English):
The article reveals the contribution of Alexei Valentinovich Mickiewicz, a well-known representative of the Soviet theoretical and legal science, to the development of the theory of lawmaking. Based on the analysis of the largest works of the scientist, his views on the concept of law-making, as well as factors of law-making activity, are revealed. The relationship between the theory of lawmaking and the typology of legal understanding is shown. It is emphasized that Mickiewicz understood lawmaking exclusively as an activity carried out by the state and expressing its will. The author reveals the scientist’s approaches to understanding the legal nature of acts, to the difference between normative and non-normative acts. It is stated that Mickiewicz paid great attention to auxiliary and derivative acts, and proposed to introduce the concept of “acts of normative and auxiliary significance” into scientific circulation.
