Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to the current wave of emigration of highly qualified personnel and researchers. The concept of emigration of workers with high intellectual potential and “brain drain” is clarified, the causes of this phenomenon are identified, statistical data and the scale of the process are analyzed, and the consequences for the development of innovations, Russian and Belarusian business in the country context are analyzed, measures are proposed to motivate Russian scientists to work in Russian companies in order to preserve and develop intellectual potential countries. A creative approach to solving economic security issues related to migration processes of highly qualified personnel and researchers is considered.
