The article reviews the problem of the underage cybercriminal personality formation: it reveals the psychological essence of the interaction between the underage cybercriminal and the victim; describes the online disinhibition effect, which occurs on the basis of the weakening psychological barriers and the action of dissociative anonymity factors, invisibility, asynchronicity, solipsistic introjection, dissociative imagination and minimizing authority. Understanding the psychological features of the formation of the personality of a minor cybercriminal will, according to the author, determine the main directions for improving the prevention and early detection of cybercrime among young people.
