Abstract (English):
On February 8, 2021, on the Day of Russian Science, a scientific and practical round table was held on the topic “Law and order in the conditions of the global crisis: the current agenda for researchers, lawyers, civil servants”, organized by the Department of History and Theory of State and Law of the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) with the support of the Nizhny Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The central topic for discussion was the recently published monograph of the associate professor of the National Research University of RANEPA R. Z. Ruvinsky’s “Law and Order in the period of the global crisis: Transformations, trends, threats” (St. Petersburg: Aleteya Publ., 2020). The round table was attended by about thirty scientists and teachers from Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow and other cities. During the discussion, the most acute problems of the development of the Russian statehood, ensuring national security and the stability of the legal system, preserving the unity of the legal space were touched upon.
