The article deals with the procedures for the confiscation and conversion of property obtained as a result of corruption crimes into state revenue. Official data on the prevalence of corruption crimes are provided. Amendments to the procedural and operational-search legislation are proposed in order to strengthen the work of operational units and the state prosecutor to establish illegally obtained property at the stage of the trial.
