Одной из актуальных проблем национальной и региональной экономики является осуществление успешной экономической деятельности, укрепление экономической безопасности. Данная проблематика раскрывается автором на примере обеспечения экономической безопасности Республики Казахстан. Автором приведен обзор научных исследований российских и казахстанских экономистов, изучающих национальную и региональную экономическую безопасность с разных позиций и подходов. В статье показаны особенности макрорегионов Республики Казахстан с присущими им внутренними угрозами. На примере Карагандинской области выделены региональные особенности, факторы, отражающие динамику развития, приведены показатели, отражающие состояние экономической безопасности региона. На основании приведенных статистических данных выявлены внутренние и внешние угрозы, оказывающие негативное влияние на уровень экономической безопасности Карагандинской области. Результатом исследования стала выработка предложений по минимизации имеющихся в регионе угроз, реализация которых будет способствовать в конечном счете устойчивому и прогрессивному национальному развитию.

In order to carry out successful economic activity, strengthening economic security seems to be one of the urgent problems of the national and regional economy. The author considers the problems of ensuring the economic security of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The review of scientific research by Russian and Kazakh economists studying national and regional economic security from different positions and approaches is presented. The article shows the peculiarities of the macro-regions of Kazakhstan, with their inherent internal threats. Using the example of the Karaganda region, regional peculiarities, factors reflecting the dynamics of development are highlighted, indicators reflecting the state of economic security of the region are given. Based on the above statistics, internal and external threats have been identified that have a negative impact on the level of economic security of the Karaganda region. The result of the study was the development of proposals to minimize the threats in the region, the implementation of which will ultimately contribute to sustainable and progressive national development.
