Abstract (English):
In the article the authors consider the issues of the need for legislative consolidation of the procedural status of persons participating in the initiation of criminal proceedings, address the issues of the initiation of criminal prosecution, explore the opinions of scientists on the appointment of the stage of initiation of criminal proceedings through the prism of the expediency of determining its elements, namely the procedural status of persons (participants) of the stage of initiation of criminal proceedings, taking into account the comparative analysis and experience of foreign countries.
